Paul Rayius

Paul Rayius graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Music Education, with percussion as his principle instrument. He taught middle school band and percussion ensemble at Osceola Middle School (Pinellas County, Florida) from 2002 – 2011. Since 2011, he has been teaching 7th and 8th Grade Band at Park Forest Middle School, in State College, Pennsylvania.

In his spare time, Mr. Rayius enjoys performing with the State College Area Municipal Band, the Altoona Symphony, and the Nittany Highland Pipe band along with composing for band and percussion ensemble. Outside of the music room, he enjoys hiking, traveling, geocaching, playing lacrosse, and coaching the local high school rugby team.
